With the support of the GIZ, the Green Tech Hackathon took place at the UEnter platform, bringing together talented students and startup founders developing solutions in the field of green technologies.
Over the course of three intensive days, 10 teams, guided by local and international mentors, worked on innovative projects focused on sustainability, ecology, and energy efficiency.
The participants presented their ideas to an expert jury, which included:
Igor Yeremenko — Manager of the Green Industrialisation Project component / GIZ
Bettina Löwentraut-Duran — Advisor for Renewable Energy for Central Asia (RECA) Project / GIZ
Timur Malik Narzikulov — Director of the Center for Green Economy Projects under the Ministry of Economy and Finance
Oleg Rijichenko — Director of UEnter
Anvar Babakulov — Startup founder, independent expert
Following the competition, the prizes were awarded to the following projects:
🥇 Oxy.Art — study trip to Germany 🇩🇪 for 5 participants
🥈 Ozone Plasma — voucher worth 15 million UZS
🥉 Eco Briquette — voucher worth 10 million UZS
The Green Tech Hackathon became not only a platform for idea generation but also a space for knowledge exchange, networking, and inspiration among young innovators.
